We are a certified carbon-neutral business, now and forever, and have offset over 100% of our carbon impact by investing in projects that combat the climate crisis through verified reforestation (via the efforts of CarbonFund.org), clean energy development and other solutions.

We are proud to have our carbon neutrality efforts certified by Climate Neutral, an independent nonprofit organization working to accelerate the transition to a low-carbon world by verifying that brands measure, offset, and reduce carbon emissions across every part of their business.

Prima is proud to be certified Plastic Neutral by partnering with rePurpose Global to fund the collection, processing and recovery of nature-bound plastic waste. For every product we sell, we will remove and recover twice as much plastic waste from the environment as is used across our packaging and operations. By taking this bold commitment, Prima is able to go beyond net-zero, with every purchase carrying a Negative Plastic Footprint.  In addition to reducing our plastic use wherever possible, this partnership with rePurpose Global allows us to fund cutting-edge recycling, support ethical wages for marginalized waste workers in Ghana, and ultimately reduce plastic leakage into landfills and waterways. Prima truly believes in the power of brands to effect lasting change.

All Prima products are certified Glyphosate Residue Free. The nonprofit Detox Project’s certification verifies that products do not contain glyphosate, the world’s most common pesticide linked to severe human and environmental harm. Products are tested by a third-party ISO 17025 accredited laboratory to ensure they do not contain glyphosate residues down to government-recognized limits of detection (LODs) for food, commodity and supplement samples (usually 0.01 ppm), and lower levels than default government Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) in the European Union and Japan.

Formed by the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics (CCIC), the internationally recognized Leaping Bunny logo certifies companies to a single comprehensive standard against animal testing. The Standard, short for the Corporate Standard of Compassion for Animals, mandates that a company does not conduct, commission, or be a party to animal testing of any cosmetic and/or household products including formulations and ingredients of such products. The company also complies to not purchase any ingredient, formulation, or product from any Third Party Manufacturer or Supplier that conducted, commissioned, or had been party to animal testing on said ingredient, formulation, or product.

Since 1994, the Hemp Industries Association (HIA) has represented more than 1,500 farming and business members in the hemp sector. Hemp is one of our planet's most important natural resources, and in partnership with the HIA, we advocate for the whole plant.

The HIA stands for the fair and equal treatment of industrial hemp and its opportunities in agriculture and in the marketplace. The Association is dedicated to education, industry development, and the accelerated expansion of hemp world market supply and demand but is focused on the rebirth of the hemp industries in the US. We are proud to have been a member since our incorporation in 2018.

To be accredited, BBB ensures that the business meets accreditation standards, which include a commitment to making a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints.
